This was their breakthrough album, released in 1975, and a big hit, reaching No1 in the States; Say You Love Me and Rhiannon are both on here.

The band’s complicated lives were already unravelling and that turmoil led to Rumours, a much better album; admittedly one of the best albums ever.

This one is good, and suffers only from being compared to Rumours; at the time Fleetwood Mac were good and we remember buying the single Rhiannon and then the album, because the single was so good.

Today, it all sounds like the Mac in a lower gear. There is a bonus CD with early takes and live versions. The Mac are so polished that the early takes are still good.
